Why is everyone pissed at Nie Li when we don't even know if he could have used his last attack at the start? Isn't his huge killing intent the result of the death of the city lord? So he wouldn't have it if the guy didn't died. And also before that he used an attack that thought would kill the demon lord but didn't so maybe he could have attacked harder (or not, we don't know) but it's not like he didn't tried anything. And once the demon lord had the city lord as hostage, I don't think Nie Li could have attacked him harder since it would have harmed the city lord too. So it's seems a bit easy to me to just say "he should have crushed him from the start" when we don't know if he could have. After all even though he has reincarnated, Nie Li is still behind in cultivation when compared with the demon lord who is also supposed to have a "perfect body" or whatever it is called.
