That stupid stair-climbing arc in Douluo Dalu [Soul Land] was awful, and that's exactly where I quit reading it. To be fair, it was already straining my enjoyment with all the stupidly-long names of every single item or ability. "Ooh, it's a super rare Three Star Ninth Grade Purple Heavenly Breaking Thunder Striking Latte Loving Ice Phoenix!"

But the stairs...the stairs were the last straw. I used to take the stairs in my apartment building, but I can't even look at them now.
