they both have forgotten about it and it actually wasn't a big deal for him, like you said, he was actually not concerned at all, but he MADE it sound like a big deal by saying it should REALLY be returned that day. Again, she was just being responsible.

It's more like he was being manipulative by MAKING it sound like a big deal and she was being irresponsible by going to a guy's house where, if he lured her inside (and she'd go 'cause just a dumb fuck), anything could happen, and probably would. Let me rephrase a previous comment of mine:

If he was so concerned about returning the apron today, then he would not have forgotten it and should have gotten it from the moron before he went home.

idk about you but everytime i borrow something from someone and that someone tells me to return it today and somehow i forget it, regardless of whether they're being honest or simply being stingy, i WILL do anything to return it today because i am a responsible human being, not an idiot

I can’t express how much I love that they actually communicate with each other. So many problems and useless drama can be avoided with communication. I’m hoping that Reo liking her doesn’t become too much of a problem but I’m not completely optimistic about it
