@Mizuki-san I really appreciate that you're scanlating this series. I enjoy reading about girls playing baseball. However, I do have one question: why do you use the word "point" instead of "run"? From what I understand of Japanese baseball, they use the same English terms as American baseball.

Yeah, it's meant to start airing next week and the first episode was released early two weeks ago (although nobody has given it English subtitles).

"Yanagigawa" should be "Yanagawa", "Kawagoshi" should be "Kanagoe" and the abbreviation should be "Ryuudai Kawagoe."

@Ninjaman20 the tweet that you linked actually says that the reading of "Ryuudai Kawagoe" is incorrect and that the full name of the school is "Yanagawa Daigaku Fuzoku Kawagoe High School," which would be abbreviated as "Yanadai Kawagoe"
Nonetheless, what we put initially was incorrect, so thanks for pointing it out~

On page 27, Sumire is saying "It's fine to let them hit it" (「打たせていいわよ」), not "Let me hit it". The implication is that the defense will catch it even if the batter gets a hit, so Yomi doesn't have to worry about trying to strike the batter out. It's an expression of confidence in their defense.
