Wanted to give it a try and read it, but the images are of random sizes and 2 small, making it very frustrating reading this on tablet and i guess any other device. Sad.
Didn’t think I’d see this title again after the novel stopped getting translated but I’m glad it got an adaptation cause I quite liked it. Thanks for the translation and I’m looking forward to seeing how the manga goes.
I too didn't realize they made an adaptation. I remember really liking the novel until it got official english translation so the fan-translation had to stop. But thank you for translating this manhwa/manga.
where the benefit from resetting, every renkar i know is for benefit. either is for uncaping lvl max. or for better starting statpoint and bonus stat point per lvl up. or for unlocking new area. or any of that.
@nilan, the people are probably buying the materials from high leveled players. Like how he's hunting a two-headed ogre, and if he get's hypothetically a ogre horn, he can sell it online for someone who needs an ogre horn for crafting. Dunno tho
I am not sure I would give up being on speaking terms with my parents to play a game.
Having said that, how did the author suppose a game economy where a high-end dude farming gets $200 per hour would even work, supply-and-demand wise? :'p If it's so easy to make money playing a fun game, then everyone will do so—and then it won't be.
@nilan: I considered inflation but if that's the case the tuition and part-time money he's dipping in to to get $10,000 is fairly pathetic o__o;
The one way I could see this working is in a (semi-)socialist situation, with heavily roboticized production in a largely post-needs society. Say that for instance inflation is high, but school is cheap, food is cheap or free, etc. because it's all heavily government subsidized or distributed, and the game is relatively cheap, and maybe many jobs don't pay much because getting paid is basically to get "fun money" for luxury items, and you only get a job if you want to. I could see this working then.
But I suspect it's just the author being wishful about the future of pro-gaming without putting that much thought into it XD
