lol, this manga were already doomed from the start with the whole goofy ahh 30 y/o chuunibyou middle-aged man premise, and it doesn't get any better after 10+ chapters, where the guy is still very obnoxious with his super childish attitude.

Not gonna miss utterly bad manga with laughable protag like this...

ngl it could’ve worked if it had balanced it out with a good plot and character development. But the author kinda fucked around for a while and went nowhere where there was a chance to give backstory on the protag. or something.

really needs a tag whether a series is axed or just a partial novel adaptation
After searching the net, this series have 2 other version, which is the Web Novel (spans over 114 chapters), and Light Novel (only 5 volumes published), all ended in 2018.

Meanwhile, this manga ended in the story's 2nd arc, in which it was on the chapter 20-30ish from the web novel version, and the 2nd volume on the light novel version.

So if you want my honest opinion, this series were all ended prematurely for whatever reason, considering any other similar Isekai series have like more than a hundred chapters on its web novel version, while this one only lasted 114 chapters (the author did release another web novel right after this series "ended", but it was also stopped/on hiatus since 2019).

Here I thought we'd get at least another volume or two of the same mindless ambling around with all sorts of fights and other events that somehow collectively feel like nothing has happened and nobody has learned anything or changed in any meaningful way.

Thanks for the mercy of cutting it short, I guess?

Kind of a shame, but then again there was barely any plot throughout this whole thing other than Tanaka cluelessly annihilating everything and running away because he's too chuuni to think straight.
