I'd say you did a lot more than "just" the typesetting. Taking the effort of downloading each image, putting them together as a chapter and uploading it here counts too. Thanks for doing all of that.

Oh also, regarding the use of chatgpt, there's been a lot of controversy around OpenAI (the company behind chatgpt) for a while, like the USA military wanted to use AI to spy on civilians and make weapons fully controlled by AI, so Anthropic who they were working with at that time backed out of the deal and basically said "no we won't let you do that", and a lot of other AI companies agreed with them. Then OpenAI came in and took that deal. There's also a lot of stuff about the OpenAI CEO being a generally untrustworthy person (so the stuff he says about prioritizing safety and so on should be taken with a grain of salt).

Point is, if you care about that stuff, then you might want to use another LLM instead.

Thanks for your work. It's interesting to note that for page 3, the two lines spoken by Elk Power Immortal are identical in the original Chinese version, which as the translator on Danbooru noted may have been an error, so the translation was taken from the Japanese version instead.

There are a few translation errors by the Danbooru translator, however.
On page 2, it's supposed to be "At that moment, three immortals suddenly descended from the sky..."
On page 3, there are several errors, but I'll just highlight a few: "Taoism is the truth of everything! We shall prove here that only Taoists are able to receive Heaven's recognition!" "Art of Five Thunders Ritual (or if you want a bit of weebery, "Jutsu of Five Thunders Ritual"); Three Great Immortals of Chechi; Lyrics: Antelope Power Immortal; Music: Elk Power Immortal; Arrangement: Three Great Immortals of Chechi"

The better translation would be "X Power Immortal" rather than "Immortal of X Power"

As for the last page, it's "Qipao" not "Quipao"

The more astute readers might notice that the horns on Antelope Power Immortal look more like the horns of a sheep than that of an antelope. That's because 羊 in Chinese refers to sheep and goats in general, while the Chinese word for antelope is 羚羊.

By the way, looking through the Danbooru translations, there will be a lot of translation errors coming up in the future, so if you want, I can help with the translations instead.

Minus the slavery part, genuinely seems to be working quite well for the monks, enough food to mantained healthy fit bodies while also being entertained by the demon metal girls, not bad!

As I said in the afterword, I thought that AI's were good at detecting symbols and characters in images, but I learned they're horrible at it. Since I have nothing else to use them for, I'll stop using them and just keep a table of kanji symbols and a guide to Japanese onomatopoeias on hand.

Fixed page 3! Took your advice and changed it to X power immortal, if I missed any page do tell.
Also, if you see many errors, feel free to highlight all of them, as the goal is to make it easily readable to anyone.

Since my native language is spanish, I instinctively added a u between Q and I, I usually catch it on proofreading but I guess I forgot the extra page.

On the wikipedia list of character from journey to the west, it's listed as immortal of antelope power, but since the horns do look like sheep horns and the direct translation is sheep, I'll change it to that.

It did feel like the translation was getting weaker, but it's good to know for sure. I'd love to accept your help but I don't really use discord or other communication tools so it would be difficult to organize well. I'll keep an eye out for any point I feel sounds wrong and correct it through context clues.

I was going to leave it as sheep since the danbooru guy uses that and I couldn't think of an equivalent to sheepy (used in ch. 29), but I ended up deciding to change it back to antelope.

I didn't know MangaDex had a messaging system as I only made an account to start uploading, I'll gladly take you up on your offer to help!
