[Taniguchi Scanlations] Wanted French, Italian and Spanish to English translators for Seinen Projects

Taniguchi Scanlations

Our mission is to scanlate Alternative Manga, manga that tends to be more on the experimental side. We do more than just Jiro Taniguchi manga, we also translate gekiga titles, seinen and anything else unusual that catches our eye.

Recruiting:

• Mostly fluent French -> English, Italian -> English, Spanish -> English translators wanted. Please have at least intermediate fluency in English, B2 or higher. No machine translations.
• Typesetters! Just need photoshop and be willing to learn.
• A skilled Proofreader. Ideally looking for more than just grammar mistakes, spotting consistency issues and improving the English translations to be more natural and clearer.

Projects that Really Need Help:

• Pineapple Army (Urasawa Naoki & Kudou Kazuya): Japanese or Chinese to English Translators wanted.
• Hokusai (Shotaro Ishinomori): French -> English Translator. This is a 3 volume manga about the life and works of the famous painter, Hokusai by the creator of Cyborg 009. It puts the creation of his most famous works into the context of his life, and has great artwork too.
• Kajimunugatai (Susumu Higa) Italian -> English Translator. This is a 1 volume manga containing short stories about happened during WW2 in Okinawa.
• K: (Jiro Taniguchi): Spanish -> English Translator. This is one of Taniguchi's best works, and is highly recommended for fans of Summit of the Gods.
