An official translation for Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider has been announced! That means I’ll step down from this project after finishing my work on Volume 2 (which should be done before 2026).

Titan Manga previously published Kamen Rider Kuuga and Zero-one. Looking at those, we can expect a three-month per volume release window.

I'm sure the anime being a surprise hit had an effect. I hope so anyway!

Thanks for the TL (and the previous translator) so far.

(Not sure about that "hire you" part tho lol)
I mean, your translation and typesetting are likely better than whatever they end up putting out, improved since Kuuga or not, and I would love to see more capable translators and typesetters like yourself getting proper renumeration for their efforts 🤷‍♂️

(That said, I get it: said renumeration is pretty minimal compared to your desired field lol)

Thanks for the chapter! This is awesome!:salute: :win:
Robotic Penguin, I implore you to keep up translating this series. I frankly don't trust the "official" release to do things right.

I agree but he's also said that real life will likely get in the way far too much for that to be viable, and with an official translation on the way, it's best to wait and hope that it's decent and support that
Now if it's crap and they end up giving up on it after only a few volumes (looking at you Dark Horse Comics & your 3 volumes of Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san...) then I think it's a fair request to make in 2027

Oh, I'm not sure I like that after how their translation for Kuuga turned out...
If they had any sense, they'd hire you
Reminds me of how butchered the shout factory subs for Kuuga went.

The morons put the grongi subs in the fucking official subbing when it isn’t canon nor supposed to be known what they are saying

Man the anime was a real glow up compared to manga huh? Like the art is a little rough and the paneling for action isn't the greatest either. Still happy to see another chapter of this translated!

I get what you're saying, but knowing the mangaka, it's part of the charm. He's always going for a grotesque feel and I think the awkwardness of it all enhances that. The anime is an absolute treat, though, I agree.

Official release, huh? That's bittersweet, but one has to hope for the best. Above every consideration, the artist gotta get paid.

Edit: forgot to say THANK YOU to everyone that worked on this, you are alles of justice in my book.
