I appreciate the effort and the experiment but it's hard for me personally to even look at the art because of the sharp contrast. It gives me the illusion of staring at a black and white image because the white is TOO white and because it's blinding due to the contrast it is visually distracting. This normally isn't an issue in the printed magazine because the whites are off white and more dull.

I don't know anything about technicalities, but I can't see the details well. The dark spaces are distracting making it hard to appreciate the art

Darker than the current scans seems nice but this is slightly too much. It makes scenes seem like everything could be interpreted as if at night or permanently shadowed

Okay can someone explain to me why re-release something that was already published by Death Toll Scans? @Lymus @Kendama

EDIT: I read it and it looks like 90s mangas that were scanned by a school printer machine and uploaded to internet.

@EG0611 chapter has been tweaked and uploaded as a separate group for comparison with permission from death toll scans.

am i the only one who like it better like that?
It makes the details more noticeable; making, for the exemple, the kaijuu more imposing and most of all the anguish and terror of sailors really gets to you like that.
that why i've already configure most of my readers with darker settings.
