Subtle world building here, I'm very curious to see how they are going to handle this little plot point. Makes sense as the Earth seems to be slowly dying somewhat, they are flying spaceships away.

I was wondering the same thing till I read this chapter. Pretty messed up tho considering the animals are obviously quite intelligent.
