Yuuko felt a reasonable tremendous anger and hatred, spared the life of Yukariko so she can live with regret till she dies.

But being pure of heart, decided to forget all and "live" for another 60 years alone, although Yuuko didn't knew why she died, that's actually putting yourself into more suffering tho'

It's good that Yuuko found Teiichi, their love might put the hatred to rest, but I really hope Yuuko won't forgive Yukariko, this will make me really angry.
