Tatoe Todokanu Ito da to Shite mo - Vol. 5 Ch. 21

Just wanted to read up to see where this story got to, and, as many have been expressing in the comments — it started out promising, but ended up pretty meh.
The story got cluttered, full of dramatic plothreads that never really get resolved, just postponed. And this is all besides the obvious point that most of the characters are just your standart yuri/drama package, with unreasonable motivations and overly cookie-cutter personalities.
It also doesn’t help when the side couple is probably one of the most boring I’ve seen in this kind of story...which is usually the opposite.
Dropped hope those who stick around find some enjoyment here

That went a whole lot better than I had expected it to go from the writing in this manga for the past chapers.
But the last part, with the almost-kiss and especially the crying still felt as forced as I expected and the mangaka couldn't keep herself from giving the mysoginists their melancholy dark-haired girl trope as I expected.
I was really planning to drop this hard, but I'll give it another chapter.
