What amazes me more than the degree to which Kaoru is hated is the blind support for Uta, a person who confessed to her brother's wife knowing full well the only two outcomes are being rejected or cucking her away from him purely for her own self satisfaction, disregarding how doing so might affect everyone else.

Not, really, but what mental age a person has to have to be operating on this sort of basic level? Even 5yo have some vague, intuitive understanding of holism, yet it seems that subtlety eludes you. Or maybe youre just that in love with yourself or your identity (again, 'yuribrain'). Ability to pathologically compartmentalize everything is typical for those kind of personalities.

I say mostly because I do think she is disregarding Kaoru's feelings. Which is pretty much what everyone is doing in this manga really; even herself XD

Thanks to the comment section, now I understand and love this story even more! This manga is really good at human psychology. tMnR is gold. I wanna dig in more of this author works but there are full of Umi x Eli doujin (which I somehow don't want to read just because it's love live doujin lol), might read them some day.

By the way, is Uta's arc already end? Is Uta moving out with her parent = she can move on = peak of character development = end of Uta's story, let's move to Kaoru side? How long is this manga gonna be? Kaoru side is interesting no less than Uta, now I'm curious 🤔

Oh this manga will last a long time, wanting to be a realistic minimum, we are on a kaoru bow, to see how she is doing without uta and we see that it evolves slowly but normally given the personality of kaoru.Not to mention risako...
Then it will be the same with an arc uta, see how it goes with his parents, his new school, his thoughts towards kaoru....
Then we will switch to each other until they meet again sooner or later and it will be very emotional because they will have gone through great difficulties and will have a lot to tell each other ^^
