well obviously Risako was in love with Kaoru but being her best friend and confusing emotions wound up with her dating Reichii.
Bet they break up soon in the following chapter so Reichii can support Kaoru as her childhood friend (regarding whatever happened to her mom) but at the same time Kaoru eventually becomes his rebound.
And Risako drifts even further apart despite her feelings cuz well it’ll be really awkward


Though I do have my doubt on whether Reichii did cheat or not. I feel like it would be a twist if he didn’t but tried to at least. I don’t see what Risako would have to gain, Besides info about how Kaoru is. Perphaps Reichii still does love his ex too. Which is why he isn’t into having a baby soon, while Risako made the suggestion in the first place so she could TRY to put her emotions behind her.

Or who knows they did it cuz why not.

but yeah so far the flash backs are nice to say the least im enjoying it seeing what happened with everyone else and how things became the way it is though i feel the whole thing with Kaoru's mom is gonna be the reason why and how Kaoru gets with Reichii which imo is really annoying but it just really makes more sense why things are the way it is between them when they are "together" very distant not real love at all smh

with that said looking forward to next ch

i see so these past few chapters are supposed to make the readers not hate Risako as much. atleast for the more observant reader. everyone in this manga still likes taking the long, hard route though...

her personality really should've been more fleshed out in past chapters instead of long flashback arcs. what's up with melodrama yuri and flashbacks.
