I wonder why the writer guy was absent from the first chapter despite being the one in the cover art. It feels like the knitter character must be the real protagonist here. And also, the way she doesn't react to anything in this chapter and only continues knitting and knitting makes it feel like she's not even there in this scene-- it's an unusual vibe. I'm curious to learn what her deal is, and I'm eager to see how to rest of the story unfolds.

I always thought I was a bad writer for not being able to think of these small details, and that it feels like you just have to push/force yourself – which I probably still am, but it's comforting to know that that feeling isn't uncommon.
