Can't the author use the second reason to have the mc stop the hypnosis state. It sounds rather unbelievable that someone wouldn't make sure their phone is charged or carry a means to charge it when they have access to an app like this.

I think the best description of this protagonist is that he's a pervert criminal scum with a conscience.

His reasoning his sound, he originally just wanted to do pervy stuff to these girls but somehow end up opening a can of worms that would make him guilty if he ignored it. He's still criminal scum though.

He definitely has a conscience which is why he never pushes it far. He's helped out first waifu a lot, help out 2nd now. U not noticed first waifu got jealous when he was looking at 2nd waifu, or how about not hypnosis she keeps trying to get close to him. You are going to see the same thing happens with future waifus.

While MC here is a criminal for doing hypnosis and acting without consent.

But he is still far better, as usually in Manga (especially Hentai ones), if a girl is revealed to be being abused, someone or other would always take advantage of them sexually, be men or women.

It's a common troupe in hentai on how a girl who is sexually exploited at home (either by mother who sells her daughter to other men, or by father) goes to a teacher, that teacher ends up sexually exploiting her as well (most of the time it's a male teacher, but there are instances of female teachers being depicting doing it as well). And though it's rare, it also applies on boys as well (the target are always shy or weak boys type).

It's true he was acting without consent but what about if he hypnosis first waifu now, who already wants to get closer to him when on hypnosis and is upset about him going after 2nd girl

He can be both at once I think, people are not one dimensional. He's an asshole no doubt, but not enough of one to simply ignore the situations these girls find themselves in.
It's interesting he's started to consider fixing their issues as him repaying them for basically what amounts to sexual abuse, I guess that helps to ease his conscience?
