I think elections in any part of the world will never be ideal, and that's the point. Sure, what he did is an insult to anonimity in votings, but what he did isn't unrealistic. All candidates themselves pull off moves that might look questionable, and voters naturally have the inclination and the rights to do the same. It's very manga-like to give spotlight to the MC, but it's not groundless fantasy at the very least.

Now who put the video of the operation on the voting room? That feels like a clear manipulation of the voting, even if they can say that it is something so outstanding that it needs to be shown, they cannot justify putting it on that room. Together with that speech and that last attempt form Kihara, this is chaotic and completely manipulated. I also do not think that attempt from Kihara will work well.

The third was expected, but the first and second will not, so it is very good.

Whoa, I just realize that Nakata really has always been neutral. Though, anyone there hearing his story might suspect that he's siding with Akira's faction. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not tho.

@diablossa I feel like any other doctor working in that hospital would act like Kihara too if Gunji basically saves their neck from Meishin's cardiothoracic department's tyrant that is Takeo.

Kirishima had been the one Ijuuin had gotten along with, and I don't really recall him interacting with Kunitachi.

@vangstampede IIRC the prelims are to choose which two of the three candidates will move on to the next round, the professor voting. But if a candidate gets 2/3 of the votes, he/she will automatically be the next professor.

I've been wondering for a while, but why not get a simple group name for this? Even if it's just for this one project or whatever, Baka-updates don't count releases done by "no group", so I'm sure there's some people that have no clue you've been uploading all of these.

@Amplify Hey I didn't think creating a group would be necessary (and it sounded like a hassle), and also because i had no plans to scanlate other mangas. I worked with a translator on this, and my only goal was finishing this manga lol. Is baka-updates popular? first time I heard of it.
