In the game, he can just grind, kill the dragon, and get the loot. Then he can 'sell' said loot on a below average price.

Buying his own stuff is not the first application I would expect from a Game skill. Trade in general is a fairly small section of the multiplayer genre of games.

and there is another series i'm reading (not isekai but still a fantasy adventure) where one girl's skill is just "The internet" lol

Cz usually a gamer want his character to become super rich n collect all the gold n resource available for his chara only, so either his management skill is on another level or he need found the loop hole in the system until then only he can life like a king...

Well, this manga also dared to point out that if you was a useless selfinsert pre-isekai'd then after being isekai'd, you'd be pretty much the same. Unless you got an (undeserved) cheat.

THIS. Because I need to stress it more how OP his skill is to get stuffs.
Aside from crafting strong equipments, imagine if there's a way to increase his stats by consuming food items.

When he was younger, he wanted to be a successful adventurer. That didn't really work out, and he didn't really have the time and patience to learn gamer things that we take for granted. I'd think it's like giving your pa a PS4 and telling "Hey, there's a game."

Pa's probably just gonna put it down and drink a pint/go to work.

And with the Cliche "the reincarnated Japanese is happy with rice and japanese foods", that said legendary True Ancestor cries a river (literally) while giving him "Random Stat Seed" that he can grow in his game.

I like how MC didn’t gain an OP power when he reincarnated or how he doesn’t have any knowledge from his previous world that could change/revolutionize his isekai like 98%-99.9% of isekai protagonists.
It makes me interested to read more.
