I mean it's time paradox sensibilities isn't wrong, he can't not exist as certain people alive wouldn't be able to exist. Why does this joke of a series have better writing then alot of other more serious series?
right? this series is so fucking stupid but somehow still higher quality than a lot of other series that try harder to be "good"

Yeah he cant not exist before she became a goddess as that would wipe out the demons origin, the mistake was not settling for wiping him from that point forward and trying to remove him from the past

I get the "My adventure is only beginning!!" vibe from this chapter.

Especially since they've run out of WN content and this is all original for the manga.
Sort of... This is basically a World Reset. So they don't really have to keep anything "canon" going, other than the premise of the "Goddess" and the Demon Lord safely tucked up being busy "containing" them.
With the option of resolving any "plot" going forward, and drop back into the WN where they left off.

I checked the WN and it basically ended with the Sophia battle, with their time travel antics of chapter 43 being described in the first 3 omake chapters. I don't think the 4th and last omake has been adapted, but other than that, the manga really doesn't have anything left to adapt.

I think its because it operates within its boundries and does not try to pretend it is someting it is not. It is a ridiculous manga, but its honest which makes it pretty refreshing honestly. I think it accomplishes what it tries to do to a much better degree than most other manga these days.
