peak is back???
The problem is that when scanslation groups try to actively profit off of scanslation, that draws the publishers attention a lot faster than if they were just posting on MD for free.I mean yeah ToS is ToS but like man i enjoy Asmodeus and Tukii work's. Sadge..
Glad they're finally cracking down on that, but I wonder if they'll actually enforce it on everyone...Am I having dejavu? I'm pretty sure I read this on here some time ago 🥴
Edit: upon looking into it, nope, some team translate this before and it got deleted for violation about pay wall content.
Yeah, not only do they paywall, but for some of the series they're also only uploading a censored version while putting the uncensored chapters behind the paywall.Say no more. These translations should be done for love of the manga itself and if they need help, they can ask for donations or other kind of help in general but never paywall or put a price to the translation itself.
Kinda similar on the same vein of logic as race swapsBecause this is slop for male readers to self-insert themselves into. So they get to imagine isekaing themselves into a world where women literally beg them for sex.
I wonder if Mangadex give them warning first rather than just straight delete them all. They didn't even have website, it kinda feels abrupt.
When I saw they were doing that with a previous chapter, I tried to look up raw uploads of the manga to see if they were censoring it or what. From what I could find, they were doing the opposite, the raws were censored and they basically drew in the uncensored bits.Yeah, not only do they paywall, but for some of the series they're also only uploading a censored version while putting the uncensored chapters behind the paywall.
MD is already a target. it's like worrying about getting a parking ticket while commiting murder. this is a piracy website, it matters not how the piracy is done, only that it is.The problem is that when scanslation groups try to actively profit off of scanslation, that draws the publishers attention a lot faster than if they were just posting on MD for free.
The only thing publishers hate more than piracy is bootlegging.
And that's the main reason why we got that massive DMCA strike last year. Yes, yes, I know, there were a lot of other titles that got DMCA'd that no one was paywalling. But that's the thing, it was a coordinated strike between several publishers, and they wanted MD itself to feel the pain. To that end, everything else that wasn't being paywalled was little more than collateral damage. Like using a thermobaric bomb on a village to kill just one guy, but you want to hurt everyone else for letting him be in that village.
So that's why I say fuck Asmodeus, Tsuki no Fansub, and all the others like them. I don't give a rat's ass about how good the quality is or anything like that. They want to keep on painting a target on MD by using MD to funnel readers into their websites, trying to profit off of something they got no legal right to? Then we're better off without them because they do more harm than good.
In fact, I've heard a few new scanslators mentioning in the comment threads that the banned scans groups are trying to get them to drop the titles they took over. Why? Because they want to be the only scans group working on a specific title, so people will have no where else to go except their website.
So yeah, good riddance to bad rubbish.
Probably not. The group that got banned wasn't bad as some. There are some groups that only update on here like once or twice a year and hide most of the chapters behind a paywall.Glad they're finally cracking down on that, but I wonder if they'll actually enforce it on everyone...
Shhh, they get upset when you speak the truth here.MD is already a target. it's like worrying about getting a parking ticket while commiting murder. this is a piracy website, it matters not how the piracy is done, only that it is.
So I've started reading the web novel. The site I found it on goes up to like chapter 78. Is there more? This is actually a decent (heh) story, and I wouldn’t mind reading it again… The only issue for me is how the novel spends waaaay too much time on him moping about his family and being in this world. And I get it, really I do, but it feels like it’s depressing just for the sake of being depressing and deep. I know that just might be me, as I think a good amount of people liked that aspect of the story. It definitely sets it a part from the rest.
I can’t say I don’t prefer something like Teisou Gyakuten Sekai de Yuiitsu no Otoko Kishi no Ore, Onna Kishi Gakuen ni Nyuugaku Shitara Nazeka Eiyou Atsukai Sareta: Zetsurin Skill de Harem Musou however. Dude takes the good and bad and runs with it!
I’m going to be honest, it’s been so long I’ve forgotten most of it. I will say when I caught up to what was the latest chapter then, it basically put him where he is at the story now. The manager basically saved him from (most) of the drama. So I've started reading the web novel. The site I found it on goes up to like chapter 78. Is there more?
I just finished the Akari ark, does she come back into the story?
I've been wanting to read it since forever could you link it?If you've read the novel, you already know that manager best girl.
