Its the artist the ln drawings if i remember were a little harder to tell. Oh we knew they were girls but it was harder based on the drawings the manga artist seems to have taken away the ambiguity.

I'll be real, I like these stories cause the women are grateful, and are given a direct reason to be
It's like inverse princess disorder

Haven't read yet, just saying grateful and/or psycho characters are my favourite

1:5 had the males have prince(ss) disorder instead, and talked about the details of that, enjoyment to be chosen mutually, mutual gratefulness
How tough mentally you have to be to get your effort/hopes up to the most they can be each time (for best odds), to then be rejected, constant heartbreak, all while competing with others
Boy bars, paying for attention, which is a very pride-crushing experience after-the-fact, but it does deliver what's paid for
Social media bragging even more effective and mentally draining
The "What are we"/"(What do they see me as)" being extremely dangerous, as feelings can take time to develop so time is taken to develop them, but as time continues without confirmation then odds of also losing them increases (pressurised/delicate, one wrong move, no redos)
Also of course, jealousy, many consequential details can originate from it, revenge, betrayal, (driven to) isolation, or the results of these, withdrawals, crises, distrust (1:5's ch7 is a show of this, love betraying best friend, no control over jealousy, emotions, holding back hurts)

There's so many things to play with by just messing with social customs a bit, I hope it's expanded upon (Gender segregation could become "progressive" (or extremely regressive), royalty, military service, is paternal abuse tolerated, are divorces frowned upon, etc, I could spitball all day, because it changes the social norm, which is rarely ever done in stories)

I am going to assume that for this story what we see as readers is different from what the characters actually see within the story. Thats the only way to make any sense of this because no way can the MC think they were boys otherwise.

There's no wayyy the author thought he could get away with this. The MC believes his guard is a boy.. I mean just one look at any angle and you can see it's woman.

this is such trash writing, it's incredible.

the very first page immediately start with the MC talking and comparing the world he's in, as if he was a isekai character.
but since at NO POINTS he fucking specify he's been isekai'd in the first few pages, you're left guessing it's what happenned.
so to the reader, it comes as very fucking confusing until he makes a point of directly exposing he used to live in OUR world.

also the whole thing with the "male guardians", with his "male guardian" very obviously being a woman.
like, she has fucking tits, what the hell happenned between the artist and author that they couldn't agree he should make her at least FLAT if it was meant to be a (cliché) twist she was a woman in the first place?

this is a fucking car-wreck of a setting, in a single fucking chapter.
hope the rest continue getting translated, and it's this consistently incoherent.
