let me guess
  • Brute forces his way off since he's probably stronger than her and she gets caught and surprised by his strength
  • Low sweep kick
Faust had a better horse and Reckenber ran out of stamina quicker than him since she was older. Faust considers his victory a complete fluke that he should have lost.

so they fighting in cavalry style then. Also, OOF is she like grandma or something?imagine being a peak female built with muscle but running out of stamina quickly. also, I can imagine that in the future plenty of women can't keep up with MC stamina (in bed) :pepela:

Girl, you done fucked up.

Also, is he using some previously unmentioned magic when he fights, or are those waves simply artistic license?

Willendorf's soldiers do not see themselves as cowards who resort to cheap tricks to win. They value strength and uphold strong moral principles. That’s why they were offended when Caroline suggested they gang up on Faust to defeat him, even if it is for revenge.
It probably also doesn't help that she's basically telling a group of men to beat up a woman, since the manga reverse the gender-status stuffs.

They still acknowledge his strength, but there's probably still something that feels off about doing that.

Well,
I think she was only 35-45, but Faust was around 20 (currently he's 22). She was very likely involved in fighting throughout the entire battle, as it would be a waste of military power not to have your superhuman fighting the enemy. So it's not like she was a slouch.

previously unmentioned magic
Not sure if the manga mentioned it, but he has an enchanted sword. It's not really that big of a plot point as far as I'm aware. There are various enchanted arms and armor in the world. Additionally they can be actively created by specialists.

Thanks for the new chapter!

I appreciate some good glutes and I appreciate how the Willendorf soldiers see beauty in it in some way.
Other than that, it's actually great that Willendorf doesn't just accept people for asylum in exchange for just info/intelligence alone. If they discovered that Caroline's forces were overwhelmed by a smaller contingent, I suppose they won't even consider talking to her in the first place.
Also, hurray for Faust - his fans club seems to be bigger than expected.

well if they are also on the battlefield that means Faust also fights through the entire battle with the enemy troops.

From the sounds of it, they do have a preference for boys since they criticized her for not bringing any boys as gifts for them. However, it seems that while they might be attractive to Faust, they also have respect for his combat capabilities and see him as a warrior as well as a man, one that was capable of defeating their commander in fair combat.

So, Faust probably would've been viewed better if he was born in that country, but unless he had noble roots and/or ties that enabled him to become a warrior in the first place (similar to his own kingdom), he'd likely just ended up as a play toy for the women in that country rather than having the chance to be a warrior. That's my guess at least.
i appreciate the genuine response, but i was more wondering in terms of if he defected to their country. Would the current him raised in his home country, be viewed as attractive and as a fine specimen. I really just want him to get all the respect he deserves.

so... if he went to willendorf would he be viewed better than he is in his home country? Do they prefer muscular men over sissy boys?

Just as how throughout real world history almost every culture developed a view on women as "the ones who must be guarded" due women's ability to give birth - I don't think Polidoro would find much more independence in Willendorf.

This entire world is one where men are rare compared to women - he might receive comparatively better treatment, but every culture would in some way regard him as a male to be "protected". Perhaps the ladies of Willendorf might respect his martial strength to a degree, but I doubt that as a whole he would find independence - he'd probably just have a higher price tag for being a proven superior product.

doubtful - in the end he is still a man. He'd probably just be considered a higher quality man, but still wouldn't be allowed autonomy or independence. It'd be a backhanded sort of respect - "You're a strong fighter for a man" or "You're no ordinary man". If he married, the culture would pressure him to surrender his lands to his wife.

As he is now, yes. Though the circumstances of his popularity would probably not come to be. Minor spoiler for the content of the next arc he's going to be forced to go on a diplomatic visit to Willendorf, so you'll get a closer look at how they view him.
Lord Polidoro is a bit of a hot commodity at the higher end. If you want a bit more, I could. But yeah.

I don't think you understood my point.
no i understand your point. the commander is exhausted then so with Faust as well. but Faust still comes at the top in terms of stamina and fight durability (and probably fighting power too) I mean in the previous chapter dude destroyed the horse carriage, tanked an arrow to the face, and sniped a horse from very far away using a spear. the Willendorf border soldier is probably witnesses their fight and admit that Faust is stronger than their commander.
