Thanks for the translation! I didn't read the other one bc I think it's not fair to "snipe" (english is not my language but I read all the manga on internet in english bc there's more translations, so I've learn the term recently but still think it's nasty). This couple is really adorable!

This is the over all better translation, but the sniper did have better flow with the “and is a chat all you really wanted”

The analogy with the finger walking is definitely more accurate to the art in this translation, but either translation gets the point across.

Translating is hard af and knox has always taken crit and fixed issues IE “Bee in your bonnet”

Looking forward to more knox translations, but I won’t say no to multiple translations either as it does ad a different perspective. My dress up darling has two translations and is better for it. I doubt the snipers will snipe again though lol

How am I supposed to live vicariously as a non-single engineer if he doesn’t act like one 😭 (get lost in his own little world and use words that nobody understands cause he’s so used to using them)
Lmao made me laugh tho well same feels haha

I guess it's because he got used to speaking with clients that's why he can explain in simple terms. Clients usually are not or less technical versed.

Hmm as a programmer, I prefer the other translation when the protagonist was trying to help. There were “nerdy” words such as entrypoint, debug, logic, instruction instead of fuzzy ones such as start, section, branches and leaves.
I'm a technical engineer and my wife is an animation director. If I try to explain something related to my work to her, I will not use the usual technical words but will try to find analogies. This is what you do when you want to be understood by a non-technical party. To me, the current translation just shows that Mitsu tries to communicate with Natsu in a way she can understand and that puts him in a good light.
EDIT: Should have read all the commentaries before being late to the battle...

Did you notice that the makeup she used while dressed up covered most of her freckles? (Then they returned once she had washed her makup out, and he said 'better like this' = with freckles)
He said "this suits her better", so it could either be the laid back attire or no makeup. But yeah fair point, still dressed up Freckles does things for me <.<

I know I should refrain from being horny because this chapter is very sweet, but wow FemC has nice boobs. I like them.

Thank you for the translation.

Yeah. As A PROGRAMMER. The person he's talking to is not a programmer. "Nerdy" terms like that would just confuse you if you don't know it. Maybe she would still get it but, overall this is much easier to understand unless like you said, you're a programmer
