revisiting this work a few years later, this is probably my favorite piece of pandemic-era writing ive seen. pacing felt just right in the one-volume format, the romance is satisfying and believable, and everything felt very true to the era. it evoked the feelings of the pandemic without getting lost in the doomerism of it, or feeling like a political treatise. Most stories that are set in, or were contemporary to, that time just acted as vehicles to re-litigate the discourse. This story used those realities as a vehicle for a pleasant romance, something i think we all were craving during those lonely days.

An excellent work. And although some people are upset with how short it was, I think its brief length was to its benefit. It didn't feel too long or too short (imo), we got to see their relationship develop in an organic and healthy way, and it ended on a sweet and high note. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

Thank you for the translation.

Well, that's the end sadly as it really should be longer, tho' it was supposed to be an one-shot that gained enough attention for it becoming a volume long.

As for the chapter:
Big character growth with Nokoru, first time in totally new country with language barrier, but his IT skills came in handy (TL app) and even learned some simple phrases.
The way Natsu rushing to see Nakoru was wholesome and sealing everything with long awaiting confession.
Natsu gave Nokoru a huge confidence boost, which allowed him to finally break free from horrible work environment and travel to places he only seen in manga or games.

For the story:
Black company worker, bit of an introvert meeting an extrovert, who changed his life for good and through his analytic point of view helping her with own issue.
Although author tried to make the story in COVID pandemic setting, kinda failed with Natsu even going to Chile and Nokoru following her, this would be an interesting arc with him trying to cross the border during travel restriction, but I guess things had to be rushed...

10/10 wish it would be longer...
