Yeah that was me, Isekai gets special treatment since a lot of their 'adaptations' are short lived promotional works meant to highlight whichever flavour of light novel is currently trending, which is why a lot of them tend to be drawn so badly by doujin artist trying to get into mainstream work.

I was thinking more like Bleach, that almost got nixed as a 'YuYu Hakusho' clone.

Though honestly nowadays publishing seems massively more lenient, probably from the switch to mostly online than printing
