Okay @Magicreams here is what I have interpreted so far:

Kuwabara was trying to kidnap Masato for some reason (I think it was to collect ransom money or something like that idk), but Kuwabara fell for Masato and Now they gotta be on the run since Masato's family will be after them.

So now, Masato is having alot of mental anguish because of Kenta and the feelings of being replaced by him. At the mlment, Masato isn't too sure what to do about Kuwabara's kindness and his supposed betrayal, so he's having dreams of killing him (it might be metaphorical idk).

Then that little devil kid shows up at the end of chapter 9, ready to fuck shit up.

Masato seems fucked if he doesn't get out of there, Kuwabara seems like the type to sacrifice himself.

I hope this makes sense, there is a lot of symbolism that I myself don't get.
