Almost 99% sure he married her just to make it seem like the kid was his, and not his brother's. It's too weird how he went for her instead of a noble who could rise the status of the family, and petty revenge on his bro seems a bit unlikely. Cuz like, he gets less with that.. A better revenge would be to force her to be his mistress, but still marry the noble. o3o

Hopefully so, but I've read too many manhwa where I wished that was the case (that the child is not the bad parent's real child) only to have it to be otherwise.
Manhwa authors seems to get a kick out of making unredeemable parents.
