Yeah, it's called generational trauma. The young ones get screwed over at an early age. The twins were so young when a paedophile rapist was let loose upon them and the brother took the hit. That is a big reason why he is so messed up (also abusive mother/grandmother). The kitty killer kid has a mother, that did who knows what, that messed him up good. You know, even if uncle Naoto is an ass, he seems the most normal. I think if they would just ally themselves with Masato they would solve so many of their problems.
