Gets chased, slashed, then chased after again to get kidnapped, the other girl clinging to him and about to do more than molesting, that's ALL fine. But his clearly incontrollable power is punishable by death? Bitch, would you kindly go and jump off a cliff?

Forgive the late reply, but... that "Bitch" character is obviously seen as very weird and disturbing by the others.

The knights are clearly none too happy having to chase and ferry the protagonist around, but they have to follow her orders. Being forced to be in prolonged contact with someone you find reprehensible and disgusting by your equally disgusting boss isn't the sort of thing that puts you in an understanding mood.
