I'll say it, this is the most unbelievable cataclysm in all apocalypse media. Even if i like the story, the monsters are few, far within and dont cover any terrain, society wouldnt have colapsed even if they cant be killed cause they can be damged and contained with firearms.

Also, Maru has superhuman capabilities so they wasted a bullet there.
