Now that I think of it, what a smart setup with this whole bear-boobs-strategy situation.
At the same time we've:
1. Confirmed that Maru's still interested with Kiru despite Kiru essentially being a man
2. Confirmed that wild animals aren't gone.
3. Kiru got much needed validation from Maru for being a great marksman and after NOT getting it from Robin in the past.
4. We got more worldbuilding with them thugs/vigilantes/scammers (and a lesson for the future)
5. We're about to get (albeit pretty ecchi) another bonding moment between Kiru and Maru.
6. Kiru's (most probably) going to confront once again the difference between their mind and body - maybe some identity/gender reflections.

It all seems so simple, but it's actually greatly put together.
