I really didn't expect the Behemoth Hiruko to slowly head towards the Nara facility. Good way to have them fight it when the smarter thing would be to run: no choice! But it was brilliant of Kiruko to leave in the air that they should do their best to look around and maybe bounce before it actually gets there. Love stories with crafty protags like that.

I thought the same. It also seems like the reason why Taka was against fighting it. This story is really sad, the kids turning into hirukos, Ohma being the hiruko that caused Kiruko to hallucinate, Mimihime having to suffer being alive because she'd also turn into a hiruko if she wasn't kept so and Shiro (or Usami) had to watch it all happen (and then kill himself after Mimihime died). It seems like Usami knew about what was happening though, that's why he wanted to keep Mimi alive in her state. Man, it's all so sad 😞
