Yes, it makes sense for the anatomist to have a minimalist fight where each movement is shown in great detail (or hinted at when it's weird like that deflection)
The idea is to show efficiency, though there seems to be more than that in this last strike.
Also there have been religious themes in every round since the Kami-Choko fight (sligthly less in round 5 but still there). I think this manga is turning what first appeared as a random powerup in a reflexion on humans and gods.
Everyone was sure the Celestial Gates or other divine buff would be necessary for fighters to win moving forward, but Kojiro and Togo lost against very human characters. This current fight will inform us more on what the author plans to do with the gods.
For now we know they exist and have agency
