I mean, at least some of the later fights won't be quite as predictable in their outcome as these last few. I'm choosing to see this all as setup. A very long setup I'm being patient about by grasping onto the belief that it'll be worth it. Surely I won't be disappointed again...

People don't see fighting style, or weapon choice. etc., they only see "Old" or "Young". Weird how there are some who act like not a single old guy has won, despite Hanzo BTFOing Sasaki.

literally only one non-sword user died: honda tadakatsu in the first fight

I do feel like later fights could have more variety if hino choko sticks with unarmed fighting instead of switching to swordsmanship, but interesting weapons users are overall clearly staying.

Man so uninteresting I just wish to know what's time cutter gimmick. If it's a delayed vacuum blade or a precise attack or something.

as far as i understood (and i may be wrong here) Time-Cutter is meant to be a cut so fast no normal person can react fast enough to block or parry it before it conects. Jinsuke himself states that he designed this technique to "cut between mere moments, gaps on the opponents guard and attention", hence the name of the attack
