This is just personal thought on the trolley problem and why Satou Konoha decided to be better off alone. Because I more or less experiences the same thing in pre-school to middle school.
I want to have a friend, I want to get along with everyone in my class, and with my childhood friends who is in different class too, but somehow that couldn't happen. I cant befriended anyone and ended up being alone with minor bullying.
I was a weirdo in the past, And the fact that you just cant befriended everyone is the reasons I accept for it to this day.
Even the case with guardian/teacher role too, i more or less experiences the same thing.
In my head, the trolley problema in this chapter is depiction of sacrificing people and befriended people at the same time. Iana have to choose or she might lose both side of the railway. There might be a way to save both side but she cant think of how, bcs as previous chapter mentioned, she is lacking. But she still try to solve that problem despite all that flaws and i think thats something that cannot be blamed upon her, but should be appreciated instead.
