In this kind of manga, i always prefer if the MC knows how to hide their isekaied status, but reading all of that exposition, i really wish the Japs persona just a multiple personality disorder. That would be new.

I think i have read that one too once. I think it's 3 persona and i dropped that because it just another Oda Nobunaga slop. If i don't mistaken.

I wonder if this will have any impact on the story going forward, because I doubt it will - and if it doesn't, why have these chapters and this moment at all?

I often bring up, in these kinds of stories, the interesting body horror of being a possessed/possessor isekai person; like how you're essentially a parasite taking everything from someone, even their name.
However, if the MC simply says
'yeah, I'm possessed',
and the response to this is,
'it's okay, we're still family'...
Then what was the point of it all?

I don't know where I can find the raws BUT
My theory is that maybe there was some kind of spell involved between the brothers with how he reacted to the reincarnation spell... I think in ch3 the father of MC was remembering something about a happy and prisoned magnolia, a war and someone praying in prison and him fighting someone...

Maybe (still my theory) is the reason the father was surprised when the MC change from a emotionless doll...

Or maybe its something more simple, someone give her the 2nd name by accident and the fairy give her life... Maybe that 2nd name was the real name of the MC in her past life.....
