Seriously what even is this arc? What even is this chapter? I just got so out of with so much text during a freaking BATTLE. Like if this was ever going to be remotely interesting, it'd be because I'd see them fight. In terms of actual movements and attacks there were like three this whole chapter. The rest is just a full page worth of text painstakingly explaining every little thing to me.

Considering the premise of this Manga and what the MC himself is supposed to care about, this overall seems kinda... pointless. Like it'd make more sense to me if the MC went to a more normal adventuring school where the goal was the make friends with people his own age and like starts to build the live for himself he never really got due to yandere sister and then we'd see that in every instance his sister is reborn and becomes someone close to him and tries to ruin that, but he moves forward in trying to build a happy life regardless.

Like a big reason I don't care about anything that's happening (beyond the walls of text explaining what I can see currently happening and just piece together with basic thought), is because I really don't know why I should care. Even if the sister shows up at this point or is one of the characters already (which there are a few I could buy), I just like... don't get what the MC wants here and I also wouldn't get why he wants it. It doesn't really feel consistent with the premise or how it devsloped for the story to take this route.

LOL @ the scanalators not realizing the sister long appeared
Right?! it's clear a certain character's artwork changed a awhile back, when I assume this series officially got the ax
I also see there aren't many in the comments that got cursed with knowledge. Honestly let the series end next chapter, look no further for information. Sometimes a beautiful lie is better than a disgusting horrid reprehensible truth.

First, I thought this manga was treating the sister like "Oshi no Ko" treats Ai
(Ai is like the poster girl, even though she died in the very beginning of the story)

Then I realized my stupidity, 'cause Ai is still super relevant to the story (everything is happening because of her, or for her), while in this manga, the sister is literarly part of 1 or 2 arcs, then ignored. Her actions didn't cause any consequences, so the manga's name could even be changed, and just say the "sister arc" is just a prologue or smth

P.S.: you could say, I'm wrong cause the sister will appear again, but "who cares?", it's been long since we saw her, and future chaps can be ignored, cause they don't exist yet

————

tl;dr: tried comparing the sister's and Ai's treatment in their respective stories, then realized my stupidity

TFW the spoilers are more interesting than the manga. Shame really. I understand building up characters for the twist later but will...

The person adapting the manga really should have cut and trimmed and edited things to keep it more interesting.

There's really no getting through the legwork though given that this is basically set up for this series' version of the red wedding and the traditional Isekai protagonist villain arc

Ever heard of the saying that the best place to hide something is in plain sight. She has been in the story for a very long time.

Yes, this is true. This story is nothing but hot garbage anymore though so I don't see any point in caring though.
