Its bad when you make commentary that contradicts how you're suppose to feel. She's crying but a real story should have the balls to end her story there to make it feel like the world is cruel and unforgiving. It is too late for her and even after a year she doesn't have the awareness that to accept fault until her own people go against her.
Even if she's useable to some degree, its kinda empty and lacking. The world is reset to 0 in this lawlessness, that nobility and such is useless. If anything a better way to change it would've been to maybe swap the positions. And made it a Queen with a bratty prince son. The son dies and the MC takes in the Queen who realizes she failed in raising him. That way we get an elf cutie who fights.
Even in fantasy, you gotta take in perspective from both the characters in the world and the audience. Everyone except the MC is against her (EVEN GOD). She had a chance to make things better, refused, everyone suffers. If anything this is promoting unfairness when the MC is supposedly fighting for fairness by giving her bias from the author.
