To be fair, it's kinda understandable. Nazuna and MC knew each other and have a history together; she committed suicide because of his remarks, only to end up in this hellhole, where they reunited and he went to seemingly extreme lengths to save and protect her, while swearing to do everything in his power to make up for his previous actions.

And now he's completely ignoring her and getting excited over a couple of younger girls.

dang, figured it'd just be a standard single elim bracket but forcing teams is a good way to isolate someone no matter what, Kyle seems like the type to let the gals pair up so that they all have someone they can at least somewhat trust with them tho

the Joy Of Fighting Games aspect continues to be the highlight of this story, the hunt for special moves was a fun bit to read through. Obviously the main source of influence here is Street Fighter but the way they were hunting for inputs reminded me of Karnov's Revenge/Fighter's History Dynamite. All the characters in that game had a secret move that wasn't listed in their move lists and had incredibly nonstandard inputs like grounded command grabs with upside down half circle inputs (47896P/69874P) or a big energy blast with a back->forward->down-back->down-forward+both punches (4613PP) input lol

It could be to call in allies lol. Various fighting game characters dont really fight themselves, they just call in others to do a move then leave. Or you could simply have the assist ability in some fighting games such as marvel vs capcom.

So judging by their hobbies:
Kyoko is probably a Rushdown type so she'll probably either have a Rekka or a Dash Punch.
Miku has a projectile already and the previous chapters noted she has long legs so either she's a dedicated zoner or a Shoto.
Kako is definitely a Grappler so she'll have a command grab of some kind.
MC Kyle is the real mystery.
