I do not doubt the fact that he can satiate himself any time he wants, and maybe he already has done so.
The test is to camp, and his self-appointed goal is to stay low profile. The point of a camp is that you cannot speed it up, you have to endure it for the whole duration, and expressing the same amount of struggle as your group mates means you wouldn't appear as suspicious. Besides, he has to do camp time anyway, so why not engage in this fun activity anyway?

There isn't anymore, since the evil dominus island has been destroyed by Yuuji. The island was lush and full of plants and monsters though.
