Isn't Yuuji already pretty famous for being a tamer that uses magic tho? And what a shitty academy, you either have to use magic or be a melee fighter to enter. There's no department for ranged fighters ?
And that first dude really was bad, dude went for a chop on the super sword of the examiner, that way no sword will last very long for him, smaller strikes to evaluate the enemy would be better in a fight, even more when you know they are better than you.

How is this cliche school arc? Have we even seen anything close to "a tamer that fighting mostly using magic trying to enter fighter class full of macho man" school arc?
