This whole plan was dumb from the word go, are they actually trying to paint it like since soldier morale is high it's all good? Cause it's still the worst idea I've heard and we're supposed to believe not 1 but 2 insanely proficient tacticians thought/went with this stupid farce?

feigned retreat is a very effective tactics that has turned loses into victories but only if it's done effectively and correctly and this was just a really dumb and lazy way to do it

As soon as they said "Let's flase retreat" to a Cav army when they weren't proper on cav and inf units I was like "Yep this is a dumb ass move" A cav specialist army like the enemy would always have this advantage and makes me wonder what the feck the 2 strategists where smoking to think and/or promote this tactics plan.

I got curious and checked your comment history. Every comment you posted for this series is criticism and your previous comments completely contradicts ur so called logic.

Thought mc and co were supposed to at least have more than one collective brain cell. And we all know this is just to set up some stupid drama moment where mage girl or fighter boy gets seriously wounded or captured and then MC will show some stupid plot armour and everything will be fine in the end.

Huh my comments the whole time are "The tactic is retarded" also yes I still think the enemy leaving the castle to attack the attack that wasn't enough to take a castle was a dumb tactic. So all my comments still stand.

Surely if the enemy has horses that can mysteriously jump/climb sheer meters-high cliffsides, that "antagonist" should have no problem ending our misery, no?

We now know this enemy is horse lords. Of course they will leave their castle if terrain serving their best skills and tactics is available. The Mongol Khans didn't make it all the way to East Europe by hiding behind walls. There ought to be another enemy force guarding the castle, one actually used to defending structures and withstanding siege warfare.
