What BS is this? There is no way they are evenly matched. Sure their bravery stat is the same but flappy earlobe guy is inferior in every other stat.

Same is true for aptitudes. Both have Calvary, Infantry, and Archery at S, but where dipshit has Bs and Cs for Weaponry, Fortifications and Strategy, Ritsu is all As and Ss.

So the tl:dr is that while Dan and Ritsu are evenly matched in Bravery and Infantry Aptitudes, Ritsu is utterly dominant in Wisdom, Strategy, Weapons and using the environment to his advantage.

It's like a few numerical/alphabetical skills determine the outcome every single time. It's like the standard power level crap. If someone is better, they have to win every single time.

And Ritsu is obviously smarter. Even if we go on nothing but their stat scores, he outscored the other guy in Wisdom. On that alone, it was like baiting a dog with nothing but meat on its mind.

The Bravery stat uses an old word that pretty much means "Martial Prowess"
In other words, according to his appraisal, the two of them should be just as good at fighting, and we all know Ars is a naïve little shit xD

They're evenly matched in a duel. Generally the important stats for this fight are "Bravery" and "Infantry" which are even, but Ritsu's Wisdom and Strategy give him the clear tactical edge.
