Just noticed that his mom has never been mentioned/shown. Like. at all. I went back and even when his twin younger sibs were born there was no mention of a mother. What? Did she die and her funeral was dubbed unimportant for the story? Why is she absent from her husband's funeral? Why is Ars the only one snuggled up with his younger siblings here? Did his dad sculpt them out of clay? Was their dad secretly trans and got pregnant from one night stands? Did he have a secret relationship and we'll meet the sperm donor later? Huh? What is happening?
