You know what? This is fine. I’m sick of battles getting dragged to a vol’s worth of chs like it’s DBZ, or villains coming back again later to get juiced up by evil god chips (like Corgino).
Agreed, so tired of flashback porn. Just get killed and go awayWell i love how SHORT the fights were. just two slashes and two morons lost their heads.
the best thing?
no freaking "Why i did become evil" flashback.. aaah bliss.
I sure hope there's more to it. Otherwise I am gonna be dissapointedNo no, there's definitely more to this. Ignis is next.
I think the entire point was to show how the MC matured. He could easily kill Corgini back when he swallowed a piece of the evil God, but trying to be merciful bit him in the ass, so know he has learned and chose to dispose of the "enhanced" demon kings, before they caused any collateral damage.I love a good stomp but, this seemed kind of anti-climactic? It’s hilarious how the traitor kings bodies just piled up, but Set also really should have stomped the shit out of the mask king.
There was a slight build up and then two slashes in quick-succession. I thought the brother would also be way more in shock, but he just got up like nothing happened.
Everything about this chapter could have been executed way more excitingly, but it wasn’t unfortunately. That’s not to say, it felt really good to see the traitors get karma’s so quickly.
Thanks for the translation!
That’s a fair assessment for sure. It’s good to see growth (unlike a certain slime manga). But what I was specifically commenting on was how the series of events was executed in terms of illustration portrayal. It was comical how these impossibly strong enhanced demon kings just plopped down right on top of each other in no more than a quarter-page panel. Absolutely hilarious actually.I think the entire point was to show how the MC matured. He could easily kill Corgini back when he swallowed a piece of the evil God, but trying to be merciful bit him in the ass, so know he has learned and chose to dispose of the "enhanced" demon kings, before they caused any collateral damage.
Nah. He just got saved by getting his ass handed to him by his captive, who proceeded to let him taste shoe leather, thereby saving him from a head removal. That said... You'd think that Cain could return their heads to their bodies and revive them given how OP he is... so... [thinking] it makes me wonder if death, then resurrection like a certain Demon Lord, would in fact be even more effective? Like, "Now, I can keep killing you and resurrecting you infinitely many times until you learn your place. What is your answer?" Baddy?: "[Whimper]"Love that the 2nd guy saw his buddy get killed in one shot and decided to do the exact same thing. Like, maybe if he’d actually managed to scratch Cain or their fight was close, then it’d make sense. But nope. He just ran head first into a meat grinder
not sure if the 3rd guy was smarter or not but he didn’t have a chance to replicate their mistakes
I suspect the difference is that the prior one he had an actual connection with [and up until the end, wasn't trying to overthrow the country---just seek retribution against Cain]. He also had a kid that Cain knew of. In this case, he attempted to assassinate the Crown Prince and threatened his sister, as well as Cain's BFF, our expert in teaching his opponents the "intricate delicacies of shoe leather" by letting them taste his finely crafted l33t sneaks. "Taste, shoe! Puny Worm! LICK THE BOOT! FEAST ON IT!" Though, his wife is CLEARLY ORDERS of MAGNITUDE more terrifying [only person thus far who has been able to instill fear in him besides his own mother & select wifus. ROFL.] It can pretty much be guaranteed that Cain's "summon" learned his "boot stomping tactics" at the mercy of his indomitable "mistress." [a.k.a. his wife, or rather, her husband, for whom she is da dom. =P] [Cracks whip and fan.] ROFL.So... Human dude took a more time to be killed, but these demons get like a page total... So killing is fine now with MC.
Heh. See, now you raised a flag! If next subchapter is dedicated to aforementioned "flashbacks", I'ma blame you! LOL.Well i love how SHORT the fights were. just two slashes and two morons lost their heads.

I prefer the demon lord method of repeated resurrection and annihilation. You insta-kill them, then immediately respawn/resurrect them, then kill them PAINFULLY, then repeat this process until they go crazy. Then make them submit. Possibly sealing their powers and making them serve those they despise until they learn to have an improved personality. Possibly, turning them into that which they hate [Demon King to Hume/Human]. CURSES! NOOOOOOOO! [PENTAKILL] ACK! WAIT! NOT!!! [UNPRECEDENTED!!!] PLEASE!!!... [UNSTOPPABLE!!!] ... pl..e..a..s..e... [IMMORTAL!!!] ...[incomprehensible]...[several hours later]... [seals powers]. [sends now thoroughly broken Demon Kings to work as servants under Cain's Head Buttler.Exactly what I was imagining would happen. Tch.
Corgini wasn’t as bad in the WN as he was in the manga, he died after he tried to enslave Cain’s little kitty friend.I think the entire point was to show how the MC matured. He could easily kill Corgini back when he swallowed a piece of the evil God, but trying to be merciful bit him in the ass, so know he has learned and chose to dispose of the "enhanced" demon kings, before they caused any collateral damage.
