It doesn't look like they have any other guards so if Lilu try to chase after them now, it'd turn into the butler having to both protect Lilu and try to rescue the girl at the same time.
If he tell Lilu but drop her off, Lilu would just be waiting anxiously.

So I think him keeping quiet here while thinking of a rescue plan once he drop off Lilu is better.
There's also the question of whether they, as foreign nobles, can really take action here but he knows exactly who have the authority to act AND will act to save the girl: Cain.

He’s not in prison because there was nothing that positively linked him to it and he could argue it was bad timing. He did get a drop in nobility so it’s not like he got away unscathed for it. If he gets caught he’ll either drop down to bring a baron as a last chance for him, be stripped of everything or be executed depending on how badly he fucks around

He really is an idiot. Now that Cain has a solid position, both in politics and in pure physical + metaphysical power, like there's anything other than Aaron could defy him in that world. The King or some other above Cain in politics to some extent could, but only to some extent. When Cain go full power, heck, the King and Demon King already submitted themselves to him. He's not someone you should mess with. The only thing you could do is to mess with him in economy, but once he put his knowledge of modern goods and commodities in it, then you're a dead meat, as your market would collapse at any moment due to new methods of production which would reduce costs of productions etc.
There are so many unknown factors here, and therefore so many risks. So, quit being so full of yourself. Pride is the downfall of mankind.

Yeah, this is the unfortunate thing about dealing with the prosecution of nobles. Especially when they are part of an opposing faction like Corgino is. Any missteps on the part of the King will only give the opposition more ammunition to use against. Which means that any evidence they have must be absolutely incontrovertible, and the case against him as airtight as can be.

His job first and foremost is to make she the princess is safe, she would have ordered him to follow. This would just endanger both girls as the princess would be in the way. So he took in what he saw and will probably give Cain the heads up, this was a abduction of a commoner with connections to a noble, he can be pretty sure she is being taken as ransom so she wont be killed right away. The other party would need about a day to make use of having her to make a threat, confirm she was caught, threaten and get the response from her dad. Rather then rush after her now tipping off Cain before the kidnaper is ready for him to know is much smarter as you can then go for her when their guards are at the lowest, while getting back to base they are paranoid, once back they will relax for a time after settling in, then they will be back on guard a few hours later as they assume it was noticed. As a butler dealing with kidnapers is likely in his training so I would expect he would know to be calm and approach it in a tactical manner.
