Not only the MC faces no issue in stopping the none problem of grade A idiots who just saw an S rank adventuring noble who is married into the royal family.
The MC spares no effort in having zero neurons fired to the point killing the readers cells. By literally allowing any of this shit to happen, not once but 2ice!
The only satisfying end of this arc is by having this other country incorporated into his domain or be part of the MC country.

I'm so completely done with this manga lol, The main character and the way he's written is nearly unforgivably brain dead even in the ocean of badly written crap that passes for manga these days.
The entire point of this particular brand of power fantasy wish fulfillment schlock is having a cool ass main character that actually makes good decisions and handles shit properly.
Instead you've got someone with god like powers who's so terrified of war and killing people that he'd rather enable the evildoers by never properly punishing them.

The instamoat to let the adventurer party do their thing ...check.
Actually dropping the two armies into a bloody big hole.... About as effective as nuking them from orbit, and it leaves enough people alive to wrap up the entire Corgino network and the "Dark Guild" once the captured idorts heve been ....convinced to talk... offscreen .
Reasonably "logical" choices to prevent the MC from having to go full murderhobo...

But now you've brought up a conundrum of sorts, that being "Which has the ability to affect the other? The vehicle, or the occupants?" If the latter, then things stand as I attempted my joke, and though it's purpose was to be a police bus, by being occupied by students/faculty it must by necessity now be a school bus.
However, if the former is true, then all the students are now, in fact, police officers.

Hopefully this is the last straw and those bastards finally get executed. I get him taking them alive for evidence but the two countries had better not just give them a fine and a slap on the wrist again. Kill them all and confiscate their territories/businesses.

they might be retarded but do you think they would be retarded enough to reveal what they did if he brings them in alive? they would just lie, better to kill them and then tell the people what they did.
