And if he was actually paying those people, they wouldn't stare at him at that moment with faces "what the heck is that idiot talking about?"
no idea why you think this: whether he's paying them or not, they can look at him in annoyance since they can tell he is an idiot
Also, they probably
aren't obligated to follow his leadership as an adventurer (at least not fully), as long as they just do the job / they earn profits
"Every time" doesn't change anything. Whether you hire the same carrier over and over again,
you're missing the point: he's not hiring sei as an extra carrier every time, he's treating sei the same as the other party members, so obviously costs should be different. Also, as I've mentioned, he
may only need to pay them/cover costs for
this first expedition
or different ones - you still pay the same.
nothing suggests this, so you're pretty presumptuous: like different carrier fees may vary, and there may be transactional fees too
Parties operate on concept of "shared funds", aka rewards that party gets first come to cover necessary expenses for the party to function, and only what remains is distributed as personal reward for each party member. If "necessary expenses" raise, then personal rewards would shrink.
1. it depends on the party
2. if it really was the case for this party, nothing is stopping the girls from contributing to food costs, instead of letting Sei cover for it all himself, so Juke REALLY shouldn't have said that to Sei even if Juke was the actual leader
No, i'm not misremembering his words.
....then you purposely misquoted to mislead us into thinking your point is more credible, so no point in debating with you further.
