It feels like they ripped off the "Tax Collector Gernot" story from Isekai Izakaya Nobu. The guy even looks the same.

In light of the release of chapter 26.3, I changed the chapter number from 26 => 26.1. However, note that this chapter contains both 26.1 + 26.2, so there is no gap between this new 26.1 and 26.3 chapter.

This will likely be a temporary situation. I've sent a report for the mods to implement a more permanent one.
